I am a Clinical Psychologist with a keen curiosity in the out of sync mind. I love working with different cultures, genders, races and ages as it is our uniqueness that ultimately connect us. I prefer to move in harmony with clients, at a pace, comfortably adapted to each person’s needs, enabling them to look around in the labyrinths of their own minds. I enjoy assisting clients in finding their true colours, identifying certain elements that might have impacted on their development.
I have a special interest in working with the troubled mind of adolescents, as I feel I have an understanding of the challenges that children this age go through when having to take the daunting steps into adulthood. When teenagers blend into their environment to protect themselves, they can sometimes lose their true identities to buy social security. Therefore, the actualising of the self at this crucial stage of life is imperative in order to develop a balanced person that is changed for the better and not one that constantly needs to adapt to survive.
My services are available in English and Afrikaans.
