I believe that therapeutic healing is not only fixing what is 'wrong' but also building on what is 'right'. That individuals have an innate ability to overcome challenges by tapping into their inner resources. My therapeutic approach is influenced by both the Humanistic and Cognitive-Behavioural approaches.
I am registered as a Counselling Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. I have obtained my Masters degree from the North-West University and received further training at the University of Pretoria.
I work with children (6yrs>), and adolescents. I also work with adults; individuals, families and groups. My areas of interest include: Child development, Trauma, Mood disorders, Depression & Anxiety, Chronic illness Counselling, Adjustment difficulties, Play therapy, and Attachment.
My services are available in isiZulu and English.
