I believe in the resilience and ability of people to overcome the various challenges and difficulties which they may encounter. I believe that each individual and their situations are unique, and as such I collaboratively work with my clients utilising an integrative therapeutic approach.
I have worked with the South African mental health community for several years, volunteering at various organisations. Beyond psychology, I have worked in other industries, which has given me a diverse understanding of the greater corporate realm. During my training I also worked with diverse populations, providing psychotherapy and various psychological assessments to adults, adolescents, and children.
I offer my services to adults, adolescents and children (5 years and older) facing various challenges and difficulties. For children, I offer play therapy where children are helped to optimize their ability to express, explore and resolve their difficulties, feelings, and experiences.
My areas of interest include: Depression, Anxiety, Grief and Loss, Trauma, Life Adjustments, Self-Esteem, Phobias, Relationships, Stress, Play Therapy and Psychological Assessments.
I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as a Counselling Psychologist.
My services are available in English.
I also provide medico-legal assessments via Equilibrium Forensic Psychology.
