Christi Gadd - Clinical Psychologist, Neuropsychologist & Practice Director
Location: Online and Pretoria

I am a Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist with a passion for human relationships. More specifically, the human brain and the way in which it regulates our behaviour and in turn our relationships intrigues me. In this regard, I provide psychotherapy to assist a person and their family in adjusting to the impact of brain injury or illness as well as assessments of the extent and intricacy of the injury.
Apart from my interest in neuropsychology I also provide more general psychotherapy to individuals and families. I work from the Integrative Interactional approach facilitating effective, sustainable and satisfying relationships for my clients.
I provide supervision, practice mentorship and business coaching to other psychologists and healthcare workers.
My services are available in English and Afrikaans. My practice is a hybrid practice located between Pretoria, South Africa and Dubai, UAE where I combine in-person and online sessions as I move between the practices.
I also provide psychological assessments for the insurance-, aeromedical-, and medico-legal contexts.

Blog posts written by Christi Gadd:
Relationship therapy, traditionally known as couples therapy, offers those within a romantic relationship the opportunity to develop the quality of their relationship. It provides partners a safe space where they can process hurt or unfinished business and develop the communication skills necessary to negotiate life’s challenges as a team.
There’s an expectation that we should all know intuitively how to have healthy, loving relationships, but the truth is we don’t. We try our best but often get stuck in cycles of conflict. The same pattern repeats over and over and no matter how hard you both try - you can’t get out of it. It is draining and can leave you feeling defeated.
