Jane Abi Atmeh - Intern Clinical Psychologist
Jane Abi Atmeh is a Lebanese clinical psychology trainee based in Belgium, specialising in adult psychotherapy. Having lived across multiple continents, she understands the complexities of displacement, cultural adaptation, and personal transformation—insights that shape her empathetic approach to therapy.
Currently completing her Master’s degree and internship at Satori Health Centre, Jane’s experience spans addiction prevention, drama therapy, and interdisciplinary collaboration in hospitals and rehabilitation centres. Through the Tomorrow’s Leaders Gender Scholar Programme, she has explored how gender and culture influence mental health, reinforcing her commitment to creating a non-judgemental, inclusive space.
Beyond clinical practice, Jane’s published work on child marriage and honour killings reflects her dedication to social justice. She has facilitated workshops on domestic violence and healthy communication, helping individuals and couples navigate challenges with clarity and resilience.
Fluent in English and Arabic, with strong proficiency in French, Jane is committed to making therapy accessible and culturally sensitive.
Elise Löwenthal - Intern Clinical Psychologist
Elise Löwenthal is a clinical psychology student with a diverse academic and professional background spanning Belgium, Greece, the UK, and Finland. After beginning her career in marketing, she felt a strong pull back to her first passion—psychology—leading her to pursue advanced studies in clinical psychology at the Université Catholique de Louvain.
Elise is deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive space where individuals feel truly heard. Her approach integrates patient-centred therapy and cognitive behavioural techniques, complemented by training in body-centred psychology, family dynamics, and solution-focused therapy. She is currently completing her clinical internship under the supervision of Clinical Psychologist Larissa Ernst.
Fluent in English and French, Elise offers in-person sessions in Leuven as well as online consultations, ensuring accessible and compassionate psychological support.
Shannon Pretorius - Counselling Psychologist
Shannon Pretorius is a counselling psychologist who completed her training at North-West University and her internship through the University of Pretoria in 2021. She offers a therapeutic space grounded in empathy, understanding, and care, tailoring each journey to the unique needs, experiences, and aspirations of her clients. Shannon works from a neuro-affirming approach with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, integrating a range of psychological modalities, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and person-centred therapy (PCT). Her goal is to support clients in discovering their strengths, building resilience, and navigating life’s complexities with confidence.
Karla Badenhorst - Counselling Psychologist
Karla Badenhorst is a counselling psychologist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s developmental challenges. She has a special interest in career assessments, subject choice evaluations, and assisting learners with study strategies to manage exam stress. Karla also provides parental guidance and therapy for children, adolescents, and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, stress, and low self-esteem. Her therapeutic approach incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). She is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and offers services in Afrikaans and English.
Caitlin Vinson - Counselling Psychologist
Caitlin Vinson is a counselling psychologist who believes in the potential for growth, healing, and transformation within every individual. She provides a compassionate, non-judgemental space where clients feel heard and valued. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy, Caitlin helps individuals develop personalised strategies to navigate challenges and foster resilience.
She is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and holds degrees from Rhodes University and the University of Pretoria. Caitlin works with teenagers, adults, and couples, focusing on anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and burnout. She offers services in English, both in Pretoria and online.
Carol Yan - Online Counselling Psychologist & Social Media Manager
Carol Yan is an Online Counselling Psychologist and expat who moved to The Netherlands as a trailing spouse in 2021. She currently work with clients across the globe and enjoy the flexibility this has brought to my own life.
She provides general psychotherapy, Child Therapy, Somatic Experiencing Therapy and Brainspotting virtually.
Her services are available in English and Cantonese.
Roxanne Zwart - Counselling Psychologist
Roxanne Zwart is a Counselling Psychologist practicing from the Satori Health Centre. He practices online and in Pretoria, South Africa.
She believes in the resilience and ability of people to overcome the various challenges. She has worked with the diverse South African mental health community for several years and beyond psychology, she has worked in other industries, which has given her a diverse understanding of the greater corporate realm. She works with adults, adolescents and children (5 years and older) facing various challenges and difficulties.
Her areas of interest include: Depression, Anxiety, Grief and Loss, Trauma, Life Adjustments, Self-Esteem, Phobias, Relationships, Stress, Play Therapy and Psychological Assessments.

Rachel Kehoe - Counsellor & Canadian Registered Psychotherapist
Rachel Kehoe is a councellor with Satori Health Centre Leuven. She works in English with individuals as well as couples and she is available in-person in Leuven, Belgium and online at a reduced rate.
She hold a firm belief in the inherent growth potential within each person, fostered through openness, acceptance, and understanding. Her approach is person-centred and strength-based, weaving in elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solutions-Focused techniques. I tailor my approach for each individual, recognizing that each journey is unique.
Breanna Thompson - Counsellor
Breanna Thompson is an English-speaking Online Counsellor with the Satori Health Centre. She is a Canadian expat who moved to Nairobi, Kenya, in 2017. She knows firsthand the struggles of anxiety, depression, isolation, and maladaptive behaviors that can emerge when transitioning between cultures.
She works from a person-centered therapeutic approach and seamlessly integrate elements of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solutions-focused, and narrative therapy into my practice.
Her services are available at a reduced rate.
Larissa Ernst - Clinical Psychologist, Sexologist & Founder
Larissa is a registered Clinical Psychologist in both South Africa and Belgium, as well as an European Certified Psycho-Sexologist. She works in English and Afrikaans.
She’s been living as an expat in Belgium since 2017 where her practice in Leuven is focussed on psychotherapy for the international and expatriate community. She also offer online psychotherapy, which enables me to assist clients across the globe. She works with adult individual clients, couples/partner relationships and families. She has a special interest in interpersonal communication and how this impacts our mental well being and relationships. She is also experienced in assisting couples to separate or divorce in an amicable way serving the best interest of the children impacted by the separation with additional interest in perinatal mental health, especially within the expatriate context where there is limited support for new parents.
Christi Gadd - Clinical Psychologist, Neuropsychologist & Practice Director
Christi Gadd is a Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist practising from the Satori Health Centre. She practices in Garsfontein, Pretoria East, South Africa and online.
She has a special interest in the human brain and the way in which it regulates our behaviour and in turn our relationships. She provides psychotherapy to assist a person and their family in adjusting to the impact of brain injury or neurological illness as well as assessments of the extent and intricacy of the injury. She also provides general psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families.
