All My Friends Are Invisible: A Memoir By Jonathan Joly

“When the world doesn’t understand you, it’s time to create your own.”

This read is highly recommended even if you do not share these life experiences, thoughts, or upbringing - it is very relatable. A now famous YouTuber and Instagram influencer, Jonathan Joly shares his story of strength and breakdown, quite literally and figuratively, which helps the reader understand the trials and tribulations of life and how pure survival can look like during such times of trauma.

This deeply personal memoir takes you on an emotional journey of a young queer Irish boy, during the 1980s in Ireland, left with not much besides his form of survival which allowed him to make it through some of his darkest times in life as well as allowing him to be his true self in a safe place he created.
